A Note From No.14: 
 
I often create a new scented candle to articulate something that is happening in our homelife. In this instance, it was my oldest son leaving home to start University. 
 
This fragrance has a nostalgic blend of woody, herbaceous and gentle floral notes. The candle has many hidden references and nuances which play homage to mother and son. For example, the cocoa notes are a reference to my son's love of chocolate; an appreciation he appears to have inherited from me.
 
We left him at Uni on that sunny day in late September and walked back to the car under a canopy of majestic cedar trees. The journey home was bitter-sweet but I knew he was going to be just fine, and so was I.
 
To add, the Uni student retuns to The Wick frequently...with a bag of laundry and to clear us out of chocolate biscuits.
